CEO and Founder

Peter began his career with Sheetz, followed by a 17-year tenure with Wawa. During his time with Wawa, he held leadership roles in Store Operations and Marketing, leading an integral part of the company’s expansion into Florida initially with 6 stores in 2012, followed by 20-40 locations per year. By 2020, when he left Wawa, the chain had expanded in Florida to 8,000 employees and 220 stores.

In 2020, Peter co-founded Neon Marketplace, a New England based food and energy forward convenience concept. Following this, Peter founded Convenience and Energy Advisors, a consulting and managed services firm that specializes in delivering thematic and sustainable solutions with a fresh take, exclusively for the convenience store industry.

Peter is an advocate for the convenience and energy industry, serves on the NACS education committee, is a member of the Associate Board of Directors for NECSEMA (New England Convenience Store and Energy Marketers Association), a Board Member of ElectroTempo, and is a contributing columnist to Convenience Store and Petroleum Magazine (CSP) and C-Store Decisions.

An industry trailblazer whose passion, expertise and commitment have not only brought her here, to Convenience & Energy Advisors as a Senior Director, but have also propelled her career in the convenience industry. With CEA since its inception, her knowledge, wide skill set, and dedication to result based output has proven to be integral pieces to her continued success.  Shanelle’s experience spans system integrations and processes, e-commerce platform development, data analytics, and beyond, serving as a reflection of her immersion into the retail landscape.  

As a recipient of the Future Leaders in Convenience prize, awarded by Convenience Store News, Shanelle was recognized amongst the top-25 young C-Store executives across the industry.  As an award recipient, and c-store enthusiast, her desire and potential to be at the forefront of the convenience industry are second to none.  Through fostering strong relationships with partners, Shanelle creates project environments where efficiency, communication, and transparency work together to ensure a successful end product.

With a solid educational foundation in Computer Science (BSc) and Animation (MSc), Christal brings a unique blend of technical expertise and creative insight to the field. As a key contributor to the team at CEA as the Director of Marketing Services, Christal has played an integral role in crafting immersive and user-friendly solutions for our diverse range of clients.

Christal's proficiency extends beyond traditional design, encompassing a wide spectrum of skills in Animation, AI, User Experience Design, Advertising, Computer Graphics, and Mobile App Design. This versatility allows for a well-rounded approach to addressing every client's visual and technical requirements.

With a commitment to innovation and a keen eye for detail, Christal consistently strives to exceed expectations, ensuring the seamless integration of aesthetics and functionality in all projects. Passionate about staying at the forefront of industry trends, Christal is dedicated to delivering cutting-edge solutions that elevate user experiences and drive client success.

Ahmed comes from a strong education background in 3D Animation, Computer Graphics, Design (MA) and Information Technology (MA). He has an eye for quality design and an excellent ability to work in teams on creative and innovative projects. 

He possesses a wide range of creative and technical skills that make him a powerful asset to CEA. His expertise resides in the disciplines of VFX, CG, Video and Design. Ahmed has valuable experience as a digital design specialist in both the advertising and entertainment industries.

When it comes to content creation and ideation, he is a powerhouse. Having the ability to create meaningful content in many formats. He never stops improving himself and approaches every task with a “nothing is impossible” mindset. Ahmed keeps himself up to date with industry trends and aims to leave a positive lasting impression on his clients.
